Hybrogines is a French aerospace growth startup, recently founded and operating from France’s space hub, aiming to ease access to space for all by providing advanced vehicles for suborbital flights, small satellite launches, and orbital services.
Our ambition is driven by complementary profiles, combining strong skills and diverse experiences. Our core team — recognized in Forbes France’s ‘30 Under 30’ list for 2023 — currently consists of eight highly motivated engineers. It will soon expand to include scientists, engineers, technicians, and managers from leading French and European institutions, bringing deep expertise at the intersection of business and technology.
We follow a simple yet robust mid-term roadmap to success: progress step by step, make future-oriented decisions, and capitalize on accumulated knowledge. We are currently developing and testing different types of engines, which will power our various vehicles.

Abdenassar is a driven aerospace engineer passionate with entrepreneurship and innovation. His education, experience and self-taught quality have led him to have interdisciplinary skills in a wide variety of fields. At Hybrogines, Abdenassar is responsible for managing the company, establishing its vision and strategy, leading execution, implementing policies, and overseeing operations, financial management, and commercial development. He holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering from Paris-Saclay University (CentraleSupélec), a mechanical engineering engineer’s diploma from ISAE-Supméca and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
Lény is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience bridging engineering, business, and people. He worked for 5 years at Comat and has been involved at various stages of research and development, from call biding to qualification, manufacturing, testing and delivery. He developed a wide and comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace hardware development cycle, and acquired an extensive network in the French industry. At Hybrogines, Lény is responsible for leading public communication, managing external stakeholder relations, directing marketing efforts, and overseeing people management. He holds a mechanical engineering engineer’s diploma from ISAE-Supméca.
Timothée is an outstanding and versatile aerospace engineer with expertise across all the core domains of astronautics, from propulsion to onboard computing, via mission analysis. He has contributed to leading startups, companies and institutions such as Opus Aerospace, CNES, and GAREF, working on a variety of topics including nanosatellite manufacturing, launcher design, and rocket engine testing. He has developed a deep understanding of the technical challenges shaping the future of aerospace. At Hybrogines, Timothée is responsible for leading technical development, driving innovation, and overseeing product strategy. He holds an engineer's diploma in aerospace engineering from IPSA.
Nicolas is a dedicated aerospace engineer with a strong background in fundamental sciences and a problem-solving mindset. He worked as a project manager at Safran for 8 years and has contributed to various projects addressing aerospace challenges. He has developed the ability to manage cross-functionnal and multidisciplinary projects in complex and constrained environnements. At Hybrogines, Nicolas is responsible for leading scientific matters, managing legal affairs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. He holds a master's degree in aerospace engineering from Paris-Saclay University (CentraleSupélec) and a mechanical engineering engineer’s diploma from ISAE-Supméca.
